The world of the series has reached a new milestone this year. From the general point of view, the small screen has never been as productive, as creative, as fertile as it has been in 2016, and not only of quantity, undeniably, but also quality. Moreover, recognized filmmakers and superstars no longer hesitate to pass on the other side of the mirror. While waiting to see what 2017 will bring, here are our Top 10 best series of 2016 :
10. The Night Of (HBO)
The US remake of the British anthology Criminal Justice was one of the big surprises of the summer. A black and captivating thriller, led by the fabulous John Turturro, who had been too rare these days. The series was such a success that it will eventually be re conducted by HBO for a second season, which was not originally planned.

09. Vinyl (HBO)
It was supposed to be the new HBO carton, at the beginning of the year. A drama full of Sex, drugs and rock n’roll, produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger . But all did not go as planned for Vinyl. Despite the lack of enthusiasm that it generated and its abrupt cancellation, Vinyl remain as one of the finest creations of 2016. A work based on 70s may be too cool for the XXI century…

08. Narcos , season 2 (Netflix)
Pablo Escobar’s panting track continued this autumn at an unbridled pace. The creation of Netflix has managed up a notch in intensity and offered again to Wagner Moura, the opportunity to express his talent. Pablo will be missed, for sure.

07. Le Bureau des légendes (Channel +)
Mathieu Kassovitz and lout are back for this sequel even more exciting and breathless as the first season. Undoubtedly, the unique design of the spy series by éric rochant has emerged this year as one of the most successful French creations. This is evidenced by its Trophy of Best Production of the Year, presented by the Association of Series Critics.
