Jennifer Lopez just kicked off her highly estimated Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on Wednesday night. ET was there at the moment to talk to the star about what went wrong to do such a big thing of hitting the careers milestone.
J.Lo said about her remarkable show “It was so much fun,” and she admitted that the experience of her about it was as a little bit more overwhelming. She said “First I’m back here, and I’m on my staircase with my big Versace feather thing, and then I walk here and it was like, ‘Woo! This is your life.” Aside from all the happy and stunning moments of that including eight awesome costume changes for the performances; there was quite a moment that made the 46-year old star cry. Lopez sweetly dedicated Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” to her 7-year-old twins’ children and her ex-husband Marc Anthony. She admitted to ET “You know what, in rehearsal every time I sing the damn song I get choked up.” She said “Like, the dancers, they know me, the band they’re like, I can’t help it. It makes me emotional to think about them.”
Obviously, J.Lo’s night wasn’t all work and no play, the after party at Mr Chow restaurant in Caesets Palace was a sprinkled event where plenty of her close friends made appearances. Later in the evening, the Hough started a dance circle in the middle of the main room and not only that Hough spent a lot of time talking about the secrets of his sister Julianne Hough’s ex-boyfriend.
Talking about Lopez herself, she mainly stayed inside the private room with Remini and her boyfriend, choreographer Casper Smart who was attentive to his superstar girlfriend.
